I Remember the First Time I Ever Heard Her Voice

I remember the exact moment singer/songwriter Lhasa de Sela’s voice found its way through a crowd at a house party, to my ears, to my heart and soul. Whose voice do you remember like that?

  1. Well, it was not so much a voice I heard but a sound. It was Pink Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon “Album. I was waking down a street in Sydney, Australia one saturday morning in the 70’s I think it was and there it was playing on a parked car radio. I stood rooted to the spot, listening and finding it almost too much to comprehend and to this day all these years later Pink Floyd are still my favourite Band and” Dark Side of the Moon” my favourite album

  2. Im 17 years old and i felt what you did when i just watched that video, her voice gave me chills, unlike anything i had ever hear, i to was captivated, through here passion and mastery she is one of the truest forms a singer could every be,
she understands the things she has to loose, but has the power to change the essence of life. i can understand that everyone has different taste in music but people need to know that music grows on you, it is a seductive power, people like her understand this, within the music is a frequency, within the frequency is a message, withing the messages ask a question, within the question there is a answer, finding the answer is the knowledge, and the knowledge is the perception within lays the she see the world,
her music is so beautiful on so many levels,
the first time i became interested in music was the first time i her the GNR sound November Rain it inspired me with a bang like affect, i needed to learn to play i had to to feel important in this world, guitar is my escape, music is my freedom.
