When I was a kid, my family gathered every Christmas Eve around the piano to sing holiday songs as my Grandfather played. (sounds like Norman Rockwell, right? But really, it’s true!)
After my Grandfather passed away, I wanted to carry on the tradition with my guitar. But because I was not yet a very experienced player, I had a really hard time finding easy arrangements of traditional holiday songs that I could play.
I became discouraged, and the family tradition of singing holiday songs together faded into our past.
Finally, many (many, many) years later, I sat myself down and wrote the book I wished I had had at the time. It is my hope that this book will become part of many a family singalong for years and seasons to come, in my family and yours.
